How does Malegra 50 Mg affect blood flow?
Malegra 50 Mg contains sildenafil citrate, which is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. It works by blocking the action of PDE5, an enzyme that breaks down cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP). During sexual stimulation, nitric oxide is released in the erectile tissue of the penis, which activates the enzyme guanylate cyclase. This leads to an increase in levels of cGMP, which relaxes the smooth muscles in the blood vessels of the corpus cavernosum (the erectile tissue of the penis), allowing blood to flow into the penis and causing an erection.PDE5 normally breaks down cGMP, leading to a decrease in its levels and the relaxation of the smooth muscle tissue. By inhibiting PDE5, Malegra 50 Mg helps to maintain higher levels of cGMP in the erectile tissue, prolonging the relaxation of the smooth muscles and increasing blood flow to the penis. This enhanced blood flow facilitates the achievement and maintenance of an erection in men with erectile dysfunction. In summary, Malegra 50 affects blood flow by inhibiting the enzyme PDE5, which in turn leads to increased levels of cGMP, relaxation of smooth muscle tissue, and enhanced blood flow to the penis, resulting in improved erectile function.
