How does Vilitra 10 help in achieving and maintaining an erection?
Vilitra 10 contains vardenafil, which is a type 5 phosphodiesterase (PDE5) inhibitor. It works by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation. Here's how it helps in achieving and maintaining an erection:
Relaxation of Blood Vessels: When a man is sexually aroused, the arteries in the penis dilate, allowing more blood to flow into the erectile tissues. Vardenafil works by inhibiting the action of PDE5, an enzyme that breaks down cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP), a chemical messenger that promotes relaxation of smooth muscles and dilation of blood vessels in the penis.
Increased Blood Flow: By inhibiting PDE5, vardenafil allows cGMP levels to increase, leading to relaxation of the smooth muscles in the penile arteries and corpus cavernosum (erectile tissue). This relaxation allows blood to flow more freely into the penis, leading to an erection.
Erection Maintenance: Vilitra 10 mg helps in maintaining an erection by prolonging the effects of cGMP. It prevents the premature breakdown of cGMP by PDE5, which helps sustain the dilation of penile arteries and the relaxation of smooth muscle tissue in the penis. This prolonged effect allows men to maintain their erections for a longer duration during sexual activity.
It's important to note that Vilitra 10 (vardenafil) requires sexual stimulation to be effective. It does not automatically cause an erection; rather, it enhances the natural process of achieving and maintaining an erection in response to sexual arousal. Additionally, Vilitra 10 should be taken as directed by a healthcare provider, and the recommended dosage should not be exceeded to avoid potential side effects.
