Manforce 100 mg is a medication that contains Sildenafil Citrate, a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor used primarily to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) in men. Like other medications in this class, Manforce 100 mg can cause certain side effects. Here are some common and less common side effects associated with its use: Common Side Effects: Headache: This is one of the most commonly reported side effects. Flushing (Redness and warmth in the face, neck, or chest): This occurs due to increased blood flow. Indigestion: Mild stomach discomfort or indigestion can occur. Dizziness: Some individuals may experience dizziness or lightheadedness. Nasal congestion: Stuffy or runny nose may occur as a result of the medication. Less Common Side Effects: Blurred vision: Some people may experience blurred vision or changes in color vision. Muscle pain: Aches or pains in the muscles (myalgia) can occur. Nausea: Some individuals may feel nauseous after taking the medication. Skin rash: In rare cases, an allergic reaction may manifest as a skin rash. Priapism: This is a rare but serious side effect where an erection persists for more than 4 hours. Immediate medical attention is required to prevent permanent damage. Serious Side Effects (Rare): Heart attack symptoms: Chest pain, nausea, sweating, pain spreading to the jaw or shoulder. Sudden vision loss: This can be a sign of a serious eye problem called non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION). Hearing loss: Sudden decrease or loss of hearing can occur. It's important to note that these side effects can vary in severity and occurrence from person to person. While most individuals tolerate Manforce 100 mg well, some may experience more pronounced side effects. It is recommended to seek medical advice if any side effects persist or worsen, especially the serious ones mentioned above.
