When is Malegra FXT not recommended?

Malegra FXT is a combination medication primarily used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) and premature ejaculation (PE). It contains two active ingredients: Sildenafil (a PDE5 inhibitor) and Dapoxetine (a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor or SSRI). While Malegra FXT can be effective for men experiencing both ED and PE, there are situations where it should not be recommended due to potential risks or contraindications. Here are the key situations in which Malegra FXT should be avoided: 1. Severe Cardiovascular Conditions Heart Problems: Malegra FXT can cause a temporary drop in blood pressure due to Sildenafil, and Dapoxetine can increase heart rate. Men with severe heart conditions such as unstable angina, heart failure, or recent heart attack or stroke within the last six months should avoid using this medication. Low Blood Pressure (Hypotension): Since Sildenafil can lower blood pressure, it should not be used by men with low blood pressure (less than 90/60 mm Hg) or those at risk of hypotension. Severe Liver or Kidney Disease: Both Sildenafil and Dapoxetine are metabolized by the liver, so men with severe liver disease (like cirrhosis) or kidney disease should avoid this medication or use it with extreme caution.
