Does Malegra DXT Cause Changes In Heart Rhythm?

Malegra DXT contains a combination of sildenafil (for erectile dysfunction) and duloxetine (an antidepressant often used for premature ejaculation). Because it includes two active drugs, it has a more complex safety profile than standard ED medications. While Malegra DXT does not commonly cause serious heart rhythm disturbances, it can affect heart rate and blood pressure in certain users.

1. Sildenafil and Heart Rhythm

Sildenafil mainly affects blood vessels by increasing nitric oxide activity, which relaxes smooth muscle and slightly lowers blood pressure.

It rarely causes arrhythmias, but in sensitive individuals—especially those with heart disease—it may trigger palpitations, a rapid heartbeat, or dizziness due to blood pressure changes.

Men taking nitrates or alpha-blockers face a higher risk of cardiovascular complications.

2. Duloxetine and Heart Rhythm

Duloxetine can influence heart rhythm more directly:

It may cause increased heart rate, mild blood pressure elevation, or, in rare cases, QT interval prolongation, which affects the heart’s electrical cycle.

People with existing arrhythmias or those on medications that impact serotonin or heart conduction should be especially cautious.

Malegra Dxt can cause mild heart rhythm changes in some men, especially those with pre-existing heart conditions or who take interacting medications. Always consult your doctor before using it to ensure it is safe for your cardiovascular health.
