Who should not take Vilitra 40 mg with heart conditions?
Vilitra 40 mg (vardenafil) because the medication can dangerously affect blood pressure and heart function. Vardenafil is a PDE5 inhibitor, and it interacts strongly with cardiovascular medications and heart-related diseases. Below are the groups who should avoid Vilitra 40 mg unless explicitly cleared by a if you have heart conditions such as: 1. Current or recent use of nitrates Vilitra 40 mg medications dramatically drop blood pressure when combined with vardenafil. Includes: Nitroglycerin Isosorbide mononitrate/dinitrate Nitrite “poppers” This combination can cause life-threatening hypotension. 2. Severe or unstable heart disease Avoid if you have: Unstable angina (chest pain at rest) Severe heart failure Serious arrhythmias not controlled by treatment Severe valve disease Sexual activity itself may not be safe in these conditions. 3. Recent major cardiovascular events Do NOT use if you had: A heart attack within the last 6 months A stroke within the last 6 months Life-threatening arrhythmias recently 4. Very low or uncontrolled high blood pressure Hypotension (BP < 90/50 mmHg) Severe, uncontrolled hypertension 5. Certain medication combinations Avoid if you take: Riociguat (for pulmonary hypertension) Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors (can increase drug levels dangerously—doctor guidance required) 6. Severe liver or kidney impairment These conditions increase the drug’s intensity and risk. Vilitra 40 mg is a high dose. It is rarely recommended as a starting dose and is unsuitable for people with heart problems unless a specialist approves it.
