Why Might Some Men Experience Vision Changes With Cenforce 130 Mg?

Some men experience vision changes with Cenforce 130 mg because it contains a high dose of sildenafil citrate, which can affect enzymes involved in visual processing as well as blood flow to the eyes.

Sildenafil primarily inhibits phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE5) to improve blood flow, but at higher doses it can also partially inhibit phosphodiesterase-6 (PDE6). PDE6 is found in the retina and plays a key role in how the eye responds to light. When PDE6 is affected, temporary visual disturbances may occur, such as blurred vision, increased light sensitivity, difficulty distinguishing blue and green colors, or a blue-tinted vision.

Another contributing factor is changes in blood pressure and ocular blood flow. Cenforce 130 causes vasodilation, which may alter circulation to the optic nerve and retina. In susceptible individuals—especially those with diabetes, high blood pressure, glaucoma, or vascular eye disease—this can increase the likelihood of visual side effects.

The 130 mg dose is higher than standard starting doses, making side effects more common compared to lower strengths. Rarely, serious conditions such as non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION) have been reported, particularly in men with pre-existing risk factors.

Most vision changes are temporary and reversible, but any sudden or persistent visual loss requires immediate medical attention. Using the lowest effective dose and consulting a doctor can significantly reduce risk.
