Are Filitra 20 Mg tablets better taken at night?
Filitra 20 mg contains vardenafil, a PDE-5 inhibitor used for erectile dysfunction (ED). It’s an on-demand medicine — you take it when you plan to be sexually active, not on a set daily schedule. Most guidance says to take one tablet with water about 30–60 minutes before sex for best effect, and only one dose in 24 hours. It can be taken with or without food, though heavy meals and alcohol may slow or reduce its effectiveness. There’s no strong evidence that taking Filitra 20 mg specifically at night is better. The main goal is to time it so the drug reaches peak levels when you expect to be sexually active. If your plans are in the evening, taking it then makes sense; if your plans are elsewhere in the day, you’d time the dose accordingly. What matters most is taking it about half an hour before sexual activity, rather than a fixed morning or night schedule. You shouldn’t take it routinely at night unless that matches the timing of your intended activity — and you should avoid alcohol around dosing because it can worsen side effects like headache or dizziness. Always follow your doctor’s advice for your specific health situation.
