Who Should Avoid Malegra FXT If Allergic To Any Inactive Ingredients?
Anyone who is allergic or hypersensitive to any inactive (non-medicinal) ingredients in Malegra FXT should avoid using it, even if they tolerate the active drugs well. Malegra FXT typically contains sildenafil citrate (for erectile dysfunction) and fluoxetine (for premature ejaculation), along with inactive ingredients such as binders, fillers, dyes, preservatives, or coating agents that help form and stabilize the tablet.
People who have a history of drug allergies, tablet coating allergies, or sensitivity to substances like lactose, certain dyes, gelatin, magnesium stearate, or preservatives may be at higher risk of an allergic reaction. These reactions can range from mild symptoms—such as itching, skin rash, hives, nausea, or stomach discomfort—to more serious reactions like swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat, difficulty breathing, or dizziness.
Men who have previously experienced allergic reactions to other sildenafil-based products, fluoxetine, or similar combination medicines should also avoid Malegra FXT unless a doctor confirms it is safe. Additionally, individuals with asthma, severe allergies, or a history of anaphylaxis should be especially cautious.
If you notice any signs of an allergic reaction after taking Malegra FXT, stop using it immediately and seek medical help. Always read the ingredient list and consult a healthcare provider before use.
