Can Fliban 100 Mg cause allergic reactions?
Fliban 100 mg (which contains the active drug flibanserin) can cause allergic reactions in some people. Though not common, allergic responses have been reported and are well-recognized as potential side effects of this medication. What kind of allergic reactions can occur? Allergic reactions to flibanserin may include: Milder allergic signs: Itching Skin redness or rash Hives (raised, itchy bumps) Swelling of face, lips, or tongue These can be early signs of an allergy. More serious (potentially life-threatening) reactions: Fliban 100 Mg breathing or wheezing Swelling of the throat or mouth Tightness in chest Severe itching/hives with breathing trouble (anaphylaxis) These symptoms require emergency medical care. Important safety point If you know you’re allergic to flibanserin or any of the ingredients in the tablet, you should not take this medicine. Always tell your healthcare provider about any history of drug allergies before starting a new medication. If you notice any signs of an allergic reaction — even mild — stop the medication and contact a doctor promptly. Severe symptoms like trouble breathing or swelling around the face/throat need immediate emergency help.
