Which Side Effect Is Considered Severe When Using Fildena CT 50?

Fildena CT 50 is a chewable tablet containing sildenafil citrate, used to treat erectile dysfunction. While most side effects are mild and temporary, some reactions are considered severe and require immediate medical attention.

Fildena CT 50 mg can cause common side effects such as headache, flushing, nasal congestion, dizziness, or mild stomach upset. However, the most serious side effect is priapism, a prolonged and painful erection lasting more than four hours. Priapism is a medical emergency because it can damage penile tissue permanently if not treated promptly.

Another severe side effect includes sudden chest pain, irregular heartbeat, or shortness of breath, which may indicate a serious cardiovascular problem. This risk is higher in men with existing heart disease.

Sudden vision loss in one or both eyes (possibly due to non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy) is rare but serious. Likewise, sudden hearing loss, sometimes accompanied by ringing in the ears or dizziness, requires urgent evaluation.

Severe allergic reactions—such as rash, swelling of the face or throat, or difficulty breathing—are also considered dangerous.

If any of these severe symptoms occur, immediate medical care is essential. Always use Fildena CT 50 under a doctor’s supervision, especially if you have heart conditions or take nitrate medications.
