Does Cenforce 120 Cause Gastrointestinal Upset?
Cenforce 120 contains sildenafil citrate, a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor used to treat erectile dysfunction. Like many medications, it can cause side effects, and gastrointestinal (GI) upset is one of the possible reactions in some individuals.
Sildenafil works by relaxing blood vessels and increasing blood flow. However, it can also affect smooth muscle and blood vessels in the digestive tract. This may lead to symptoms such as indigestion (dyspepsia), nausea, stomach discomfort, acid reflux, or mild diarrhea. Indigestion is among the more commonly reported digestive side effects and may feel like burning or discomfort in the upper abdomen.
The likelihood of GI upset may increase with higher doses, such as 120 mg, especially in individuals who are sensitive to the medication. Taking Cenforce 120 mg on a heavy or fatty meal may delay its absorption and sometimes worsen stomach discomfort. Alcohol consumption can also increase the risk of both gastrointestinal irritation and other side effects like dizziness or flushing.
In most cases, gastrointestinal symptoms are mild and temporary. However, if severe abdominal pain, persistent vomiting, or signs of gastrointestinal bleeding occur, medical attention should be sought immediately. Consulting a healthcare provider can help determine whether a lower dose or alternative treatment would be more suitable.
