Is Filitra 20 Mg effective for premature ejaculation?
Filitra 20 mg is not primarily meant for premature ejaculation (PE), but it may help in some cases—especially when PE is linked to erectile dysfunction. Effectiveness for premature ejaculation Filitra contains vardenafil, a PDE5 inhibitor. Its main role is to improve blood flow and help maintain an erection. However, research shows it can also have some impact on ejaculation timing: Studies found that vardenafil significantly increased intravaginal ejaculatory latency time (IELT) (how long a man lasts before ejaculation) compared to Filitra 20 mg Some clinical reviews report improvements of several minutes in ejaculation delay with vardenafil use In trials using doses like 20 mg, IELT increased from under 1 minute to around 3–5 minutes on average But there are important limitations It is not a first-line treatment for PE Works better if you also have erectile dysfunction (ED) Effects on PE are inconsistent—some men notice improvement, others do not It does not directly control ejaculation reflex like PE-specific drugs do Better options for PE Doctors usually prefer: SSRIs (like dapoxetine or sertraline) Topical anesthetic sprays/creams Behavioral techniques Bottom line Filitra 20 mg can help delay ejaculation to some extent, but it is not specifically designed for premature ejaculation. It is more useful when PE occurs along with erection problems.
