I'm a little embarrassed by this, but I had no idea what all a heptathlon entailed before Nafissatou Thiam's Richard Mille-wearing, gold medal-winning performance caught my eye. link A women's heptathlon consists of seven events – 100-meter hurdles, high jump, shot put, 200-meter dash, long jump, javelin throw, and link 800-meter run – and Nafissatou Thiam is the absolute best in the world right now, winning back-to-back gold medals in 2016 and 2020. – Logan Baker
