Why do side effects vary with Filitra ?
Filitra contains vardenafil, a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). Side effects can vary from person to person for several reasons. Some of the main factors include: Dose: Higher doses are more likely to cause side effects such as headache, flushing, nasal congestion, dizziness, or indigestion. Individual health: Heart disease, high or low blood pressure, liver disease, kidney disease, and other medical conditions can affect how your body processes the medication. Other medications: Some drugs—especially nitrate medications (used for chest pain), certain antibiotics, antifungals, and medicines that affect liver enzymes—can increase vardenafil levels or interact with it, changing both its effectiveness and side effects. Alcohol: Drinking alcohol can increase the chance of dizziness or low blood pressure and may also make it harder to get an erection. Age and metabolism: Older adults or people whose bodies break down the medication more slowly may experience stronger or longer-lasting effects. Common side effects include: Headache Facial flushing Stuffy or runny nose Indigestion Dizziness Filitra common but more serious side effects include: Sudden vision or hearing changes Chest pain An erection lasting more than 4 hours (priapism), which requires immediate medical attention If side effects are bothersome or persistent, don't increase or decrease the dose on your own. A healthcare professional can determine whether a different dose or a different erectile dysfunction medication would be more appropriate.
