Can Filitra 10 Cause Low Blood Pressure Suddenly?

Filitra 10 is a prescription medication that contains vardenafil, a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). Like other medications in this class, Filitra 10 works by relaxing blood vessels and increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation. Because it also widens blood vessels throughout the body to some extent, it can cause a temporary drop in blood pressure.

For most healthy individuals, this decrease in blood pressure is mild and does not cause serious problems. However, in some cases, especially when combined with nitrate medications, certain blood pressure drugs, or excessive alcohol, Filitra 10 Mg may cause a sudden and significant fall in blood pressure. Symptoms can include dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, blurred vision, or weakness, particularly when standing up quickly.

People with heart disease, low blood pressure, liver or kidney disease, or a history of stroke should consult a healthcare provider before using Filitra 10. It is also important to follow the prescribed dosage and avoid taking more than recommended, as higher doses may increase the risk of side effects.

If you experience severe dizziness, chest pain, difficulty breathing, or loss of consciousness after taking Filitra 10, seek immediate medical attention. Using the medication responsibly and under medical supervision helps minimize risks while improving treatment effectiveness.
