single bet calculator
So — been using this thing for something like four months now and it's basically bookmarked at this point, so figured I'd write something up since someone asked me last week. I'm in the UK, mostly do football and horses, nothing mad, just so you know where I'm coming from. The reason I started using it was honestly pretty stupid — I couldn't ever work out what an each way payout would be once you get five places instead of three. I used to just eyeball it and then be surprised. Now I stick my stake in first, every time, even the boring singles. Their single bet calculator is the one I'm on daily — you put in the price and your stake and you get returns instantly, fractions or decimals. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — doubles and trebles maths, lucky 15s, a yankee, which is where I always lose track. If you fancy a poke about, it lives at heinz bet calculator and it's free with no account nonsense. What really shifted things for me was the geekier extras. The odds-to-probability thing which shows you how much the bookie's taking, and a kelly criterion tool — I stick to fractional kelly since full stakes are far too aggressive. The dutch tool is decent if I'm spreading across selections. Not all sunshine though. The layout feels very functional, let's say — zero polish, it's clearly function over form. On mobile it works but the lucky 63 breakdown make you pinch and zoom. There's no proper app, it's browser only — fine by me but you asked. So yeah. Costs nowt, no ads shoved in your face, does the job. If you still does the maths on paper, try it — saved me a load of dumb bets I'd have regretted.
