single bet calculator
So — been on this thing for about a few months now and it's stuck on my phone, so figured I'd say something since a mate asked me the other day. Am based in the UK, mainly bet football and racing, nothing mad, so take it how you like. The reason I started using it was actually embarrassing — I could never get my head round what an e/w payout actually came to when the place terms changed. I'd just wing it and then be surprised. These days I type the odds in before I place anything, even a simple single bet. The single bet calculator is the part I'm on daily — you drop in your stake, the odds and it shows profit and total return with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn't matter. There's also the bigger stuff — doubles and trebles maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, and that's where most people I know got it wrong. If you fancy a poke about, it's over at 49s patent bet calculator — free, no signup. What really made a difference were the more serious bits. They've got an probability calculator that shows what margin's baked in, plus a kelly tool — I use half kelly because full kelly is terrifying. Dutching calculator is handy too if I'm spreading across selections. Not all sunshine though. The interface looks pretty plain — not much flash, which honestly I don't mind but some will. On mobile it's usable though the bigger tables need a bit of scrolling. There's nothing on the app store, it's a website and that's it — fine by me but worth saying. Anyway. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, does the job. If you even now does the maths on paper, have a look — saves me a fair few arguments with the bookie.
