single bet calculator
Right — been using this thing for maybe six months now and it's basically bookmarked at this point, reckon I'd chuck my thoughts in since someone asked me a few days back. Am in the UK, mainly bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, for context. What got me on it was honestly a bit daft — I never could figure out what an e/w payout actually came to with 1/5 odds a place. Basically I'd guess and moan when the payout landed. These days I punch the numbers in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt. Their single bet calculator tool is the one I use most — you put in your stake, the odds and it shows profit and total return with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn't matter. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — doubles and trebles returns, lucky 15s, patents and yankees, which is where I always mess it up. If you fancy a poke about, it's here each way double calculator and it's free with no account nonsense. What genuinely changed how I bet was the nerdier bits. The probability thing which shows you what margin's baked in, plus a kelly criterion calculator — I use half kelly as the full version is far too aggressive. The dutching one gets used a fair bit when I'm covering two or three runners. It's not perfect mind. Its design is very functional, let's say — no polish, which honestly I don't mind but some will. On mobile it's fine but the acca grid need a bit of scrolling. There's no app, just the site — doesn't bother me but you asked. So yeah. Doesn't cost anything, barely any ads, does what it says. Anyone who honestly works out returns on a calculator app, try it — saves me a load of arguments with the bookie.
