single bet calculator
Right — been using this thing for about six months now and it's stuck on my phone, reckon I'd write something up since a mate asked me the other day. Am in the UK, mostly bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, just so you know where I'm coming from. The reason I started using it was actually pretty stupid — I could never figure out what an e/w return actually was when the place terms changed. I used to just guess and get a shock. These days I stick my stake in before I place anything, even a simple single bet. Their single bet calculator tool is the bit I use most — you drop in your stake, the odds and it spits out the return instantly, fractions or decimals. There's also the bigger stuff — acca and treble maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, patents and yankees, and that's where I always lose track. If you want a look, it lives at what is a treble bet and it's free with no account nonsense. What genuinely changed how I bet were the nerdier tools. The odds-to-probability converter and it makes obvious the overround, and there's the kelly tool — I use half kelly since full stakes are terrifying. The dutch tool is handy too for when I'm spreading across selections. Not all sunshine though. The interface looks pretty plain — not much frills, which honestly I don't mind but some will. On my phone it's usable though the lucky 63 breakdown make you pinch and zoom. There's no app, it's browser only — fine by me just flagging it. Right, that's me. Doesn't cost anything, not plastered in adverts, works. If anyone even now does the maths on paper, have a look — saved me plenty of "wait, that's it?" moments.
