single bet calculator
So — have been messing about with this thing for maybe four months now and it's basically bookmarked at this point, reckon I'd chuck my thoughts in since someone asked me the other day. Am based in the UK, mostly stick to footie and the horses, small stakes, just so you know where I'm coming from. What got me on it was honestly a bit daft — I couldn't ever work out what an e/w payout actually was with 1/5 odds a place. I'd just wing it and moan when the payout landed. These days I punch the numbers in before I place anything, even a simple single bet. Their single bet calculator is the part I use most — you put in stake and odds and it spits out the return straight away, fractional or decimal, doesn't matter. It also handles the multiples — acca and treble returns, a lucky 15, patents and yankees, honestly that's where I'd always mess it up. If you fancy a poke about, it's here yankee bets — free, no signup. The thing that really shifted things for me was the more serious tools. The probability thing and it makes obvious what margin's baked in, plus a kelly tool — I use half kelly since full stakes are far too aggressive. The dutch tool gets used a fair bit when I'm spreading across selections. Not all sunshine though. The layout feels a bit basic — zero frills, it's clearly function over form. On mobile it's fine but the acca grid need a bit of scrolling. There's no app, it's a website and that's it — slight shame just flagging it. Right, that's me. Doesn't cost anything, barely any ads, does what it says. Anyone who still does the maths on paper, try it — saves me plenty of "wait, that's it?" moments.
